A crown covers
your tooth completely down to the gum line and protects the
remaining tooth. It may be necessary if the tooth is cracked
or fractured and cannot be restored with a large filling
alone or if the tooth has had
root canal
treatment.
Onlays are similar to crowns but
cover less of your tooth and work well when a more
conservative restoration is appropriate.
Crowns and
onlays look very nice and resemble natural teeth.
