Cleaning
You should have your teeth cleaned and examined at least twice a year
to ensure maintenance of healthy teeth and gums.
Once deposits become hard on your teeth, you can no longer remove them
with a toothbrush. We remove, plaque, tartar
and some surface staining using an ultrasonic cleaner, scalers and
polishing.
If you have gum disease, you may require a deep cleaning and additional
tissue management procedures.

Smile Whitening
If you've always wanted a whiter smile, for your convenience,
we offer in-office Boost(tm) bleaching and custom, take-home trays.
In-office Boost(tm) bleaching gives you an immediate lightening and the
take-home trays provide long-term whitening
and allow for touch-ups.
Your teeth may need to be whitened if they have discolored due to
aging, nerve degeneration,
smoking, staining from foods or antibiotics.
Bleaching will not damage or change the tooth structure and the results
are lasting.

Crowns and Onlays
A crown covers your tooth completely down to the gumline and protects
the remaining tooth.
It may be necessary if the tooth is cracked or fractured and cannot be
restored
with a large filling alone or if the tooth has had root canal
treatment.
Onlays are similar to crowns but cover less of your tooth and work well
when a more conservative restoration is appropriate.
Crowns and onlays are very aesthetic and resemble natural teeth.

Bridges
A bridge is like a series of connected crowns, some of which fill the
space left by missing teeth
and some of which sit on existing teeth and protect them.
A bridge may be an option when one or more missing teeth need to be
replaced.
It is cemented or bonded in place so you may not even notice that it's
there.
You may feel like you have your natural teeth back; many patients do.
It is typically more economical than an implant and has many of the
same advantages.

Implants
Implants are the ideal restoration to replace your missing teeth. They
integrate into the bone
and are the next-best thing to having your natural teeth.
An implant requires a team approach; Dr. Landesman will work with a
specialist to complete your case.

Porcelain Veneers
A veneer is a layer of porcelain, sometimes as thin as a contact lens.
Once bonded to the tooth, it is durable and strong and looks very
natural.
It may be used to change the color or shape of your teeth, to remove
chips or straighten misaligned teeth.

Bonding and Tooth Colored Fillings
In a bonded restoration, a plastic composite mechanically and
chemically attaches to the tooth
and is sculpted to an aesthetic finish.
Bonding is a beautiful alternate restoration to a porcelain veneer or a
metal filling.

Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is required if the nerve of the tooth has become
irreversibly
damaged or has died. It involves the removal of the nerve and placement
of a filling within the root.
Root canal treated teeth may require a crown and other procedures.
Root canal treatment may help you avoid having a painful or diseased
tooth extracted.

Complete and Partial Dentures
Complete dentures replace all of the teeth in either the upper or lower
part of the mouth.
Partial dentures can replace several teeth, but not all of the teeth in
an arch. Partial dentures
attach with clasps to the remaining teeth.
These clasps may be made of metal or tooth- or tissue-colored plastic.

Sedation Dentistry
Many people are nervous about visiting the dentist. For most of them,
nitrous oxide, or "laughing gas", will help them relax during treatment.
Some people have more than usual anxiety about dentistry.
For them, we offer conscious sedation to help them relax.
Also called "twilight sleep", conscious sedation puts the patient
in a more relaxed state than nitrous oxide.
Unlike under general anesthesia, the patient is not completely asleep.
This service is available for children and adults.

Clear Orthodontics
Misaligned teeth can be straightened with orthodontics to improve the
function and aesthetics of your smile.
At Camellia Creek Dental Center, we use a system of clear aligners to
gently move your teeth to the desired position
without traditional braces.
Clear aligner products you may have heard of are Clear Correct, Invisalign, and Essex.
Each one uses a different process to make a set of clear, unnoticeable aligners that
are worn in a series over a period of months. Each aligner moves the teeth a little
more toward the desired position.
The aligners are worn 24 hours a day and are only taken out to eat and brush your teeth.
